Technology Overview
The 200kHz air sensor series features piezoresistive pressure sensors based on ceramic technology. The measuring bridge is printed directly on one side of the ceramic diaphragm using thick film technology, allowing direct exposure to the measured medium.
Thanks to excellent chemical resistance, no additional protection is normally required. The reinforced outer area (monolithic structure) enables direct mounting in a case using an O-ring or mounting to a metal fitting.
These sensors are designed to maintain reliability despite temperature changes and overloading. The ceramic construction ensures high linearity across the entire measurement range and minimizes hysteresis effects.
Additionally, PPS101 models are thermally compensated by PTC resistors, with customizable offset adjustment available.
